General job description

DEA Projektgesellschaft mbH provides professional services and high-quality training in the railway industry. For assignments throughout Germany in railway operations, we are looking for motivated train drivers (m/f/d) who are ready to take responsibility and become part of a professional team.

Whether you have some initial work experience or many years of experience as a train driver, you can expect a structured onboarding process, modern equipment and a secure job in a stable industry.

Your responsibilities

  • Operating locomotives in freight or passenger transport on assignments throughout Germany
  • Complying with all safety regulations and operational procedures
  • Performing brake tests and technical inspections
  • Communicating with control centers and other operational units
  • Documenting journeys and special incidents

Your profile

  • Valid train driver’s licence (Tf-Lizenz)
  • Additional module for the relevant vehicle type
  • Route knowledge for the routes operated (or willingness to acquire it)
  • A strong focus on safety
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Medically and psychologically fit to work as a train driver
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Class B driving licence is an advantage
