Class B Train Driver in Freight and Passenger Transport

This training course provides the theoretical and practical foundations for working as a train driver (m/f/d). Over 12 months, participants are prepared to work safely and to high quality standards in passenger and freight transport. Upon successful completion, they are hired by a railway company in the partner network.

Locomotive Driver Class A: Shunting

In shunting, you work as a shunting locomotive driver at a shunting yard or on an industrial railway. This means assembling wagons into trains. Speeds are lower here, but you need to be especially alert because automatic monitoring systems are generally not used—people are needed to keep a close watch.

Class A train drivers acquire the professional and practical
qualifications and authorization required to operate locomotives in stations and on sidings.

LZB / LZB-CE Course

Using LZB enables trains to run closer together, making more efficient use of rail infrastructure. This leads to higher speeds, faster task completion and creates capacity for the next tasks.

ETCS training

The European Train Control System (ETCS) is an essential component of the unified European railway traffic management system. Gain knowledge of the fundamentals, onboard equipment, and operation under normal and disrupted conditions.

ETCS Level 2 for Germany

This course provides fundamental knowledge of the structure, operating principles and functionality of ERTMS and the ETCS train protection system, as well as their interfaces with conventional systems.
