Course description

Artificial intelligence is changing work processes in almost every area of business. This practical training course provides participants with a solid introduction to the world of AI and shows them how to use modern tools productively and safely in their day-to-day work. Using concrete practical examples, participants learn methods for creating texts, analyzing information, optimizing processes and efficiently automating repetitive tasks. The focus is on delivering immediate value in their professional lives.

Participants will:

  • understand the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its potential applications in a professional environment.
  • understand how modern AI systems and large language models work.
  • be able to select and use suitable AI tools safely and effectively.
  • create effective prompts for a range of use cases.
  • automate repetitive tasks with the support of AI.
  • learn the Python programming language through practical examples from the rail industry and develop fundamental data literacy.
  • identify the opportunities, limitations and risks of using artificial intelligence.
  • take data protection, copyright and the secure handling of company data into account.
  • develop their own use cases for applying AI in their company.
  • develop customized AI solutions for their specific challenges.
  • create initial AI prototypes to support work processes.

Training costs: EUR 2.530 (plus VAT) and campus fee: EUR 1.320 (plus VAT)
